Lost reception for 800m but a Stop was in that zone !

Never seen this before and it had me stumped during my ride today.

I have a stop near a Ferry today and due to a queue I stopped perhaps 30 meters prior to the stop.

Reception seems to have dropped out until I got up the hill across the River. So it seems scenic did not clear the waypoint “stop”.

Does this make sense Guido?

I think I know what happened…

You stopped 30 meters before the actual stop
Scenic auto-paused
Auto-resume engages when you are 100 meters away from the location where it auto-paused
Consequently, the stop was not reached and the track was not recorded for those 100 meters
Typically that shouldn’t be a problem because you’d still be on the route after those 100 meters (and the stop will be marked as reached), but maybe because you were on the ferry when you reached the 100 meters this didn’t happen.

What did you do? Did you manually skip the stop? (When you do that all should be good again after that.)

Yes I skipped the stop and all was good. The ferry is deep down in a ravine.

On the way home it happened again whilst still riding when coincidentally right near a "Stop" the GPS jumps 10 meters to the other side of the road then comes back again.
