Long Trips (Tours) and my workflow
My wife and I are on the road several months out of the year. We travel by motorcycle sidecar and have a bike in the EU and one in the US. This has given us access to most of the globe over the past eight years. Before that I traveled solo around the world on two-wheels.
I came onboard with Scenic back in the v2 days and with much appreciation to Guido, I have been very happy that really good OSM maps are back - sorry Guido I know how much work this map transition is for you.
So, my workflow is simple, I do my Trip Planning in Furkot.com and then use the Furkot Import in Scenic to move my Routes/Locations into Scenic for Navigation. Scenic is pretty good for creating daily Routes but for long-haul Trip Planning I prefer something more like Furkot. Nonetheless, Scenic is my go-to NAVApp. Some times we travel with friends and sharing long complex trips can be a challenge when we all use Scenic. Even the three week ride I'm doing with my brother has 17 Routes and 31 Locations.

In the Italy trip shown below, that we'll be taking this year, there are 36 Routes and 136 Locations.
The Scenic to Furkot Import connection is really nice (would like just a couple of enhancements, but not a high priority).
It's easy enough to edit a Route or Location name while Importing...
Last years trip had 61 Routes and over 200 Locations. Our 2023 trip had 72 Routes and 235 Locations.
