Kurviger Tourer+ members should have routing rights in Scenic as well
Quote from Toontje on 04.05.2024, 07:45I am a Tourer+ member in Kurviger. Since you are using the Kurviger engine, i think i should not have to pay twice, once for Kurviger and once for Scenic to get Extra Curvy routing.
Agree?

Scenic is much more that a kurviger frontend.

Kurviger and Scenic are two separate companies. Scenic's Premium subscription, offers extra curvy route generation as part of its plan. This is because Scenic has to pay Kurviger for every curvy route generation. If you want to use the extra curvy feature in Scenic, but also want to plan your routes on the actual Kurviger website, and use their Tourer+ features, then I'm afraid you'll need the two subscription.
I have contacted Kurviger about offering a package deal where users can get Scenic Premium and Kurviger Tourer+ at a reduced price, but nothing concrete has come out of that yet.
Hope this helps/explains. If not, please let me know if you have other questions. Happy to help.
Best regards and ride safe,
Guido

Kurviger already stated that their app will neither be Android Auto nor Apple CarPlay compatible. And that s*cks.

Too bad you couldn’t come to an agreement with them. I guess, with the sudden boost in Chinese head is it sales for motorbikes, there will be more people like me moving from native apps to Android Auto or CarPlay compatible apps.
I still have to give Scenic a run for its money, but so far it looks good. But confusing (see my other post), but good so far.
