Joining a published route from else where

Good morning all,

Im new to scenic and wondered if I was in another town and wanted to join a previous other users downloaded route can I just “start” that ride on the app from where I am and it will lead me to the route? Also if it does, will it go straight to the start or join the closest point to me in that downloaded route and finish going to the end?

Once you select the route in the start screen you can choose if/where you want to be guided to. Use the ‘guidance to route’ button like so:

Totally fantastic - seriously.
I’ve done 54,000 km with scenic and could have used that facility many times. I just did not realise it was there!! These forums are great for learning features. Thanks Max for raising this.

On top of that. If you want to ride a complete round tour and end at your starting point, it is also possible to download and edit the route. With the editor (under ... more) you can move the start and end points to your entry point as desired.
