Japan Offline Map Unavailable

I know this is bad news for Scenic users in Japan. Therefore I have decided to keep Scenic 2 available for those users.

Unfortunately the new map provider has legal restrictions for the Japan and China maps. Basically they don’t have permission to make those maps available.
I know this is bad news for Scenic users in Japan. Therefore I have decided to keep Scenic 2 available for those users.
I’ll need a bit more time to make this available again for you though. Very sorry about this. I hope to be able to get this sorted next week.

It’s not my legal problem. It’s the legal problem of the new map provider (HERE maps). I’ll continue pushing them to get this resolved somehow.
