Issue after importing gpx file from Kurviger.de – Can no longer set the imported file as routes – Scenic App Forum: Browse 400+ Topics for Adventure Riders

Hi Guido,

Up until last weekend (and for years) I was always able to create a route in Kurviger, export it Scenic and save it as a route. This worked perfectly until last weekend. Now, after creating the gpx file and exporting it (Way Points and Routes) to scenic, Scenic is asking me to import the file in Folders that do not exist (or no longer exist) and importing the gpx, it always errors out with "Route Calculation Error - No path could be found for input". Conclusion: the import of GPX fails consistently disregarding how I export from Kurviger.

PS: I tried with last week gpx file created the same way and these ones work fine.

Could you check if you have any offline map updates available? If you have there will be a big yellow bar at the top of the offline map screen. Tap the ‘update all’ button in that bar and try the import again.

Hi Guido,
Thank you for your prompt feedback. The NY map update and couple of other maps were not completed but the same error occurred after updating all off-line maps (even after rebooting my iphone, re-importing the gpx...).
Not sure what to do next.

I just tried. Indeed I get the same error message with Car routing, but with motorcycle routing it calculates.
After you get the error message, tap the 'car' button, and then change to motorcycle routing as below, and tap recalculate. Then the route should show up:

Not sure why it's not calculating with car routing. Maybe there's a road or a ferry that's not allowed for cars in the route?
