Importing Google Maps "&" causes errors

Hi

I have a quite a few routes I created in google maps and for simplicity I added road junctions such as Blackwood-Dunkeld Rd & B140, Penshurst VIC 3289

Any time there is road A & road B then the import fails

The error message is typically "The GPS File could not be imported because an illegal character was found in the GPS file. The error occured on line 17 with element <name>

specifying road junctions in the Australian country side is useful as there are not many house numbers in some rural areas. I would then add waypoints in scenic away from the junctions.

Thanks for letting me know. Problem is fixed. Should work now.

If you're enjoying Scenic and are happy with the support, please leave a nice rating in the App Store. It would mean a lot to me ❤️

New user here - I tried copying the link within Google Maps for iPad and pasting that short URL into the Scenic Web app and it rejected the URL. I had to open the URL in Safari which then produced the full URL (which I could then copy to the Scenic App). Should this have worked or do we always need the full URL? Thx for a great app, Guido 🙂

At the moment, short URL's are not supported. I'll see if I can add support for this, though. Shouldn't be too difficult.
