Quote from Houndog on 02.05.2024, 07:58Hi Guido,
I was planning a trip with curviger, when I exported the route end imported in scenic I have not clear which one of the two options to use, the first one do not correspond with my planning, the second one more accurate, but with small loops near some points.
any advice?thank you
Max

Quote from Guido on 02.05.2024, 08:59Can you send the Kurviger URL to me? If you don't feel confortable posting here, you can send it to me via email, using the email button at the bottom of scenic.app/help

Quote from Guido on 02.05.2024, 09:23I see there are some differences indeed. Some of them can be corrected by placing additional via points:

If you like to know more about why this is happening and how to do the corrections, have a look at the link that the other forum topic referred to.
Unfortunately, this one below can not be corrected. Scenic seems to think you can not go on this road. This can be because of seasonal closures and/or because Scenic does not know the road exists. There are some workaround for this too, provided in the link that the other forum topic refers to.

in the last case, if I import the gpx file the route is correct, but whem I'll be there scenic will give me the right infos following the Kurviger map or will recalculate?
Do you know the answer?

Quote from Guido on 02.05.2024, 10:09Scenic will always recalculate. You could do "save blue line as track". Then it will save the blue line exactly. But then you will not get turn by turn instructions. Only "follow the line" instructions.
