How to zoom out of the Map while navigating
Quote from Hen_Dre91 on 02.05.2024, 10:10Hello,
is there a way to adjust the amount of zoom I have, while the App is navigating? I'm not talking about the manuel finger swiping zoom.
I have the problem that I sometimes see turns really really late, as it is only showing the map of the next 50m or so. Not much, considering the speed of a motorcycle 🙂
Is there a way to adjust this?

Quote from Guido on 02.05.2024, 10:11You can choose between manual zoom, speed based zoom and turn based zoom. For speed based zoom there are configuarion options. Have a look here for all the details: https://scenic.app/help/speed-based-and-turn-based-zoom/

Quote from mattsz on 02.05.2024, 10:31I seem to recall that in a previous version of Scenic, one could have an automatic zoom enabled (speed-based or turn-based, I cannot remember which), but also the manual zoom buttons showing which would allow a user to choose and set a "base" zoom level, and the automatic zoom changes would occur around that base zoom level. In other words, the automatic zoom changes were relative to the user's manual setting, rather than absolute like the current methodology.
I even think that you, Guido, and I discussed, via email, appropriate zoom level changes which could be customized in settings. Am I mistaken? Was it all a dream?
If not, I sure would like that function restored!

Quote from Guido on 02.05.2024, 10:56This was available a long time ago, in Scenic 2, correct. But not in Scenic 3 and 3.5.
For now, you have full customatizability of the speed based zoom via settings.
It's on the list to add zoom buttons to change the relative zoom, but for now, the HERE framework does not support that configuration option.
