How to add via points to an imported Route

Part of the issue causing the problem is a wooden suspension bridge that’s apparently been closed since 2019. Open Maps knows but Garmin don’t and send me over it, hence the need to alter the route. I was trying to force Scenic over the bridge until I googled the location. No wonder I was struggling.
