The elevation should be visible on the map, top right. If you don't see it, perhaps it's disabled. Enable it through Settings > Map Settings.
If you want to see the elevation of a route or recorded ride, select the route or the ride from the list and then tap the "arrow with mountain" button inside the map preview.
