Just for info, I have this issue as well, though not consistently. I believe it is a Carplay issue, as it doesn't occur when using the iPhone.
I haven't used 4.xx with my Carpuride W702 so I don't know if it will happen on that unit, but it has with rental cars in Europe, and now in Scotland & England - v 4.18 . This time on a 2021 Vauxhall Grandland (rebadged Opel, under GM ownership then, I think).
