The appearance settings on your iPhone (the general settings as well as the settings in Scenic) are ignored. If CarPlay is in dark mode, Scenic will be in dark mode.You can force CarPlay to always be in dark mode (regardless of your CarPlay system settings). To do that, go to the CarPlay settings (on your carplay system).
