It was just a general question on your plans for the product .
I know you are working on the android version . Personally Im hoping for a better web version - I’m currently using my Mac with the app loaded , but the interface can be a bit painful.
I was looking at kurviger, it has some nice features eg the ability to plan segments which vary in how they are planned - direct, curved etc .
the other feature I would like is the ability to generate a scenic route (like a round trip) between two points eg I want to meet some friends at point A in 2 hours , a direct route is 1 hr, so give me a long roundabout route with curves finishing at point A.

Thanks for the further explanation. I don't publish the road map and upcoming features typically. This is (1) to avoid disappointment amongst our userbase if plans change and (2) the competition is watching 🙂.
I can tell you a little bit regarding your questions / suggestions:
- A web planner is on the list with a pretty high priority. It's planned be implemented within the coming year.
- At the moment, Scenic's map and routing provider only allows one routing mode per route. What I would recommend is to plan your route in the power planner and drop via points to shape the route the way you want it. I realize this is not the same, but for now, perhaps that's a good workaround for you.
- So, with your last point, you would like to set a destination and a duration, and then let Scenic calculate a nice route to get you there in the set duration, correct? I'm currently working on a redesign, and will see if it's possible to add such a feature. Until that time, again, the workaround is to use the power planner. Set your start and destination, and then play around with adding via points until you reach the duration you want.Hope this helps/explains. If not, please let me know if you have other questions. Happy to help.
Best regards and ride safe,
Guido

Quote from nick123123 on 22.07.2024, 11:32Hi, I'm raising one of these feature requests again because the workaround caused me so much grief this weekend. I tried to change a planned route as I was using it and wasted 30 minutes trying to correct it as it sent me off the wrong way.
Request:
I often plan to meet someone at a location at a given time e.g. cafe X, approx 10 miles away, in 2 hrs.
I want the ability to generate a long curvy route between a start and end point, arriving at the destination after a given time (e.g. 2hrs). This is a theme on the round trip feature.

Quote from Guido on 22.07.2024, 11:40I did some initial investigation, and there might be a possibility to add this with normal routing. However not with Curvy routing, as Scenic's curvy routing provider does not provide the option to set time/duration as a parameter at the moment.
