I tried the “if I leave the route”-option yesterday. It is not very good on narrow roads with serpentines.
Almost every 180-degree turn was detected as “leaving the route” and caused a recalculation
(leaving sound in the headset, “gray”-marked next section of the route, 1 sec replanning, route was back colored)
I’ve been driving a route with U-turns every 100 to 200 meters - that was quite annoying.

In addition this caused a lot more voice announcements - and I had not yet reduced the voice announcements in
the settings yet - so my headset was continuously repeating the next turns after each replanning.

My observation is that the detection of “leaving the route” is too aggressive in the current version. Would be good, if this could be controlled with additional settings (like a time delay etc.)

Anyway - after highlighting all the things that are different / not working perfectly yet - I want to say that Scenic 4 was fully usable on my first trip yesterday. You’ve done an amazing job releasing it with such a hard deadline. I’m confident that you will fix the remaining issues soon and I’m looking forward to the next season, when we’ll have the POI lists back for planning. Until then it will be a bit more difficult that before, but still better than without Scenic. Thumbs up!
