Detachable Carplay with Carpuride 502/702 + Quadlock

Hi,

I just want to show off my carplay solution. I ride a modern classic bike and don't want to permanently attach a bulky screen. But on longer trips, I still want it.

I got a carplay screen from Carpuride because it can be connected using USB. However, it needs an additional mount (RAM mount) which is bulky and adds a lot of height. Then I found out, that Evotech Performance has built a Quadlock adapter specifically for the Carpuride 502 and 702 devices.

And that's just perfect. Now I have one Quadlock mount on my bike and can either attach my phone, or the carplay display.

It's a little thing... but it makes me very happy right now.

Funny side note: I also started to use the carplay display at home with one of the Quadlock Desk stands. That's great for testing apps 🙂

Hi Stefan,

everyone how asks for pro and cons of carplay on a bike should make a test or install one and afterwards 90% or more wont go without.

I own a chigee aio 5 lite, the only thing i miss is the ability to seperate it from my bike, like you can. Its wired with power, gps and cams.
