Delete Waypoint on CarPlay

I use Scenic with apple car play on my bike, if I am riding a route and look for a gas station (and then add the waypoint) even after I actually stopped at the station and ride further the system keeps trying to send me back to the station.
further more is I open the menu and manually skip the waypoint it doesn’t work

If I may make a small addition. When it is necessary to skip a missed waypoint, it requires several actions with the carplay. You have to call up the menu, select skip and confirm. This requires a lot of screen attention and does not feel safe. I prefer to keep my eyes on the road. Is there a solution for this?
On the iPhone screen, without carplay, you have one skip button for this. That works easier.

is this implemented yet in 4.xx?
i faced today same “problem” which causes me to stop multiple times during the trip to skip the way point.

Yes. There is abutting right on the map to skip a waypoint.
