Current road name & automatic repositioning

1) I currently use the Chiggee AIO 5 for the Apple CarPlay connectivity and use Sygic mapping system as it constantly shows your current road location on the bottom of the screen even when not navigating (See bottom picture).
Could this be added to Scenic as an option to select? I’ve seen the option for “show current road name” in the settings but it doesn’t appear to do anything even when tracking.
2. I don't use maps for the sat nav directions or input destinations into it. I manually zoom in/out and move the screen with my fingers away to look at roads ahead but I’ve found that after a second or two, the screen re-centres to my position automatically without pushing the usual button for it.
I understand the safety thought behind it but is there the option to toggle that function on/off so I can look at the other roads ahead for longer?
thanks

2. you have to go to panning mode fist … then it won’t recenter.
