Couldn’t find new route during ride tracking

During a tracking ride (no programmed route) on my iPhone at a stop (tracking paused) I programmed an ongoing route on my iPad.  Both phone and iPad were   connected to Wi-Fi.  On resuming the ride I tried to select the newly programmed route (edit/change route then search from the planner menu) but it wasn’t available in the list of available routes.  Other recent (but not today) routes were selectable.  In the end I had to end the tracking and selected the new route.  It was available in the My Routes list immediately without any need to pull refresh, and I couldn’t find a way to pull refresh in the planner search function.  Not sure if this is a bug.  4.32(9) on both devices.

The sync takes place when you visit the "My Routes" screen. It doesn't take place in the search panel.
It's not really a bug, rather designed that way. Changes and additions aren't actively pushed to other devices. Rather they need to be pulled in by the other devices.
