Colour scheme curious question

With a recent app update, 4.23 or .24 I can’t remember, the button colour scheme on my iPad (Pro, iOS 18.6.2) changed to a very dark grey/green/charcoal but has remained orange on my phone (X, iOS 16.7.11). I’m curious why not the same? (Aesthetically I prefer the orange.)

I changed the default tint color. Those that never changed away from the default tint color will note the change. settings > Appearance & Color > light / dark appearance > Tint.

Sooo many setting… sooo many to forget! I’m back to orange on my iPad 🙂
