Color blind challenges: crosshair color when repositioning vias, stops
Quote from Sparki on 29.03.2026, 19:01I am color blind and do not have a challenge when creating or editing routes on my iPad/iPhone in ambient lighting e.g at home. However, if I need to edit a route whilst on a ride and the conditions are bright and sunny, which is often the case here in Texas, then I find it impossible to see the crosshair on the screen because it is washed out against the “dark” background which my phone is set to. A deeper contrast color e.g. bright yellow on dark background, and black on white background would be a great help to severely color blind people.

Quote from Sparki on 29.03.2026, 22:07Thank you Guido. I have been using Scenic exclusively for my ride navigation since around 2019. It has been great to see how the app has evolved over the years thanks to your clear passion to keep improving it! Regards, Simon

+1... Amazing.
"I'm colorblind, can you somehow modify your app to make it easier for me to use?"
"Sure, I'll fix it in the next update."
Where else does this happen? You are a star, Guido!
