Changing routing options back to "balanced" doesn't work
Quote from Yo on 07.10.2022, 03:55Hi,
pertaining to the Scenic App on MacOS: switching back the routing option from for example "curvy fast" to "balanced" doesn't work.
All auto-inserted via points persist and the route doesn't switch back to the previous layout without via points. The initial (balanced) route had 2 points, start and end.
Thnx for your answers

This is ‘as designed’. Scenic doesn’t know if you placed the via points manually or if they were generated by one of the curvy routing algorithms, so it won’t delete via points automatically.
In the power planner you can use the ‘undo’ button to go back to the previous state (before choosing curvy), or you can use the batch delete button (3rd button bottom left) to remove multiple via points, or, under the more button, you will find the ‘delete all vias’ button.
Hope this helps/explains. If not or if you have other questions please let me know. Happy to help.
Best regards and ride safe,
Guido
