Carplay switch

Hello,
How can I switch the controls back to the iPhone when Scenic is connected to CarPlay? Do I really have to turn off CarPlay first?

Would it be possible to switch back and forth via the user software?

Switching to another app on CarPlay, like Apple Music, will activate Scenic on your iPhone.

Ah.., I was also wandering about that one! I had Scenic on my phone in my car, had to charge, and Scenic pops up on CarPlay. I did not know how to change that, so, from then on, I ended up charging from a USB in the mid console which was not connected to CarPlay..😅

If you don’t want to use Scenic at all on CarPlay you could also remove Scenic from your CarPlay app list. To do that:

iOS Settings > General > CarPlay > ‘Your CarPlay Unit’ > Customize
