CarPlay – Show Distance and time to? – Scenic App Forum: Browse 400+ Topics for Adventure Riders

I'm guessing here, I told Scenic to take me home and in the top left of the screen it showed a distance to I guess a waypoint then distance to home.

I think the option is "Show Distance and time to"

If this is correct could we have an option to turn it off as it took up quite a lot of screen.

Or is it something else that I can remove?

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you have a screenshot perhaps?
The "show distance and time to" refers to Scenic showing the ETA to the first stop, or the destination, or alternate between them. Scenic will never show both at the same time.

I don't have a screen shot but I'll get one next ride.

It only showed a single thing but was at the top left of a CarPlay screen

I worked this out....
It was actually showing the next turning is a roundabout and the number was the junction I should take.

The issue is out in the country side I could be 8 miles plus from the next turning but it still shows.

I don't know if a development can be done so the next turning popup doesn't show until you are closer to the turn or roundabout?

Technically that is possible. I'll add it to the feature request list, but can't promise I'll have time for this soon.
