Car Play screen positioning

I find the navigation line in Apple Car Play to be to the right side of the screen.

Can it be centered ? Like the purple line I have drawn.

Yes. I will check that. Guess I didn’t account for countries driving on the wrong side of the road 😜

I'm working on a fix. But it won't be in the upcoming update 3.55 (released early next week). Probably in the update after that.

Meanwhile, as a workaround, you can probably change your CarPlay system to left hand drive. That will place the status bar, turn instructions and arrival info on the left side. Not an ideal workaround, but perhaps it's worth it for you.

This has been fixed but I when I restart a drive the pink line is back to the right side. If I zoom in or out it jumps to the centre.

Minor bug for when in that area.

I was supposed to be on a 7 day ride but in the end I had to take the car - Scenic worked very well including areas with Cell connection.

OK. I'll have a look at that. When you say "restart a drive" do you mean, plugging into CarPlay after a break?

Scenic v3.59 was made available in the App Store around 12 hours ago. Although I did not fix this issue in that version, I was hoping that another fix I did, also fixed this as a side effect. What version were you running during this drive? You can see version number at the bottom of Settings.

If not fixed, I'll fix it in the next update.
