any news on this one? I know this has been delayed to somewhere this fall. I need to run waze in the background only for that purpose. I remember you said it was not top priority, i get it but this is still an important feature to me.
thanks!

Quote from Zipfi on 23.10.2025, 23:03Speed cameras are not really important, this is easy and better processed by „Blitzer.de“. Using it on every trip with any app / system. Traffic and closures are the most important feature in a navigation app, this is why I use MyRoute App sind Scenic 4.0

Quote from Guido on 24.10.2025, 05:45This is personal and also depends on where you are from and what apps are available. We asked about this when Scenic 4 came out. Result: Speed cams more important than traffic and road closures. Things are in motion now. First speed cams. Then road closures.

Quote from Zipfi on 24.10.2025, 05:57Only road closures or also live traffic?
if road closures info will come from OSM it would be identical useless as the information that are shown on Kurviger. Hopefully this will be from a thirsparty vendor incl live traffic with considering in navigation.

Quote from KM on 28.11.2025, 15:18Its now past fall in the UK and we've even had snow so winter is upon us. Any update on when this may become available?
I have a free TomTom app on my phone which seems to use Open Street Map mapping and this include speed camera locations and mobile cameras from user Notifications.
I ride with displaced speed limits in Scenic, the BMW Motorrad App linked to my TFT and, Garmin Nav 6 speed limits. At times they can all be different so knowing where the cameras are would help to at least choose the lowest limit. I was flashed in a village in the Auvergne in September despite going at 50kph as per the National limit. Perhaps it had changed to 30 kph. I'm yet to get a fine but knowing camera locations or "danger zones" seems long overdue.

Quote from GB on 29.11.2025, 09:38I’ve been using Tom Tom as well, for A to B routing it’s brilliant. Speed cameras, the average speed camera warning is exceptionally good, giving you your average when in the zone. But for waypoints and trip planning it’s not a patch on scenic or OSMand.

I wonder if the Android development reduces the IOS fixes?

Quote from Guido on 10.12.2025, 13:42I'm releasing a small bug fix update this week or next. The update after that will have speed cam warnings. Can't give a date yet.

I've used this alongside a BMW Nav 6 for 7500+ miles this year including 3 continental trips and in reality it is far better than the BMW version of a Garmin system particularly navigating around roadworks and road closures.
The roadblock feature was particularly helpful in the Baltic states.
Having camera data just gives additional peace of mind navigating in unfamiliar continental European cities when there are so many things to consider simultaneously.
I have ~ 8000 miles of foreign trips planned for next year starting in April and I hope the camera data will be up and running by then.
Best wishes
Kevin
