These buttons are for the overview of your actual route.
First one will show an overview of the complete route. Second is showing your actual postion to your destination. And the third one is showing the surrounding of your actual position.
Switch between them to see the differences.Ride safe, Mex

To describe it differently, these buttons is a quick way to zoom:
(1) Zoom on entire route (2) Zoom on remainder of route (the part you did not ride yet), (3) around your current location.
I am simply trying to figure out how to navigate to a certain Via Point on my saved Route.
Do you mean you would like to skip a few via points and be sent to a specific one? If so, tap the edit route button and remove all waypoints before that specific via point. If I’m misunderstanding, please let me know and I’ll try to help.
Thanks Mex.

I think a good feature to implement would be the ability to press and hold on a point to skip all the preceding points. Almost like a “press and hold a point to start from here” type feature.
I use CarPlay exclusively, but can see how the ability to skip to a specific point without having to remove a load of preceding points would be useful

Quote from Guido on 03.12.2024, 08:16On CarPlay,
Since Scenic v4.06, if you start a pre-saved route on CarPlay, it will ask you if you want to be guided to the route start. If you tap “no” navigation will not start until you reach the route. Once you reach the route, the navigation will start from there.
If you want to do this during a ride, you could use the “skip waypoint” button in the navigation menu (accessible through button bottom right) a couple of times
CarPlay user interaction is very limited (enforced by Apple). For example, tapping on the map does not work except for panning. Apps do not get information on where the tap took place. So, tapping a via point is not possible.

What I meant is for those non-CarPlay users the ability to press and hold on a waypoint to make it the next waypoint (and skip those before it) would be really useful as it would be easier than having to skip many times.
And as I’m a CarPlay user, and understand its limitations, I knew that wouldn’t be a thing for me (us).
