Bug in current iOS and macOS apps
Quote from as rider on 17.05.2025, 06:11The bug occurs when I select a route in My Route Favorites and then click on the orange square with the white arrow pointing to the right at the top right to load and edit the route. In iOS, a point is added that does not exist in the route. In macOS, it is displayed that the route cannot be calculated because points are outside the map (Locations are in unconnected regions. Go check/edit the map at osm.org).
Editing works correctly when I click on the map and then click on the route editing icon at the top right.Thank you for having a look at it.

Quote from Guido on 17.05.2025, 06:25This is not really a bug. When you select a route for navigation (with the little arrow to the right icon), you current location is added to the route. If you didn’t give Scrnic location permission on your Mac it will use Apple headquarters on california.

If I want to start routing and location permission is off, then it should show a prompt like "Please give location permission to enable routing."
In planing mode no additional points should be added. Normaly we don't use our desktops to route and on the iPhone we don't need location permission during planing.

Quote from Guido on 12.06.2025, 00:26By default, when you start a navigation, Scenix adds the current (or last known) location. When you edit a route, it does not. So, on your Mac, where you are not navigating, I recommend to not use the arrow button but rather choose the 3-dots button > edit route. Or, go to “plan” and the select route through the search button bottom right.
