Bug - Flag description
Quote from Vorarlberger on 20.10.2025, 04:28Hallo Guido, es gibt einen Bug in der Software: Manchmal steht bei der grünen Flagge "Start", manchmal aber auch "Ziel". Und umgekehrt. Das ist leider nicht durchgängig. Wäre schön, wenn das gelegentlich behoben wird. Danke!
Hi Guido, there's a bug in the software: Sometimes the green flag says "Start," but sometimes it says "Finish." And vice versa. Unfortunately, this isn't consistent. It would be nice if this could be fixed occasionally. Thanks!

Quote from Vorarlberger on 21.10.2025, 03:26No, it happens when editing an previously saved route. Especially when moving startpoint and endpoint of the route.

Quote from Guido on 21.10.2025, 10:24I tried to reproduce the problem, but it works for me here.
I select route from route list > edit route > tap start point > move > move it
Same for end point
Save changesRe-open route... still start is start and end is end.
Are you doing something differently?

Quote from Vorarlberger on 22.10.2025, 08:39Hi Guido, here a description of the problem in more detail:
Problem 1:
I open a saved route
I tap on "Edit route mode" in the top right corner
I tap on the green flag (because I want to change the route starting point)
ERROR 1: A window with the green flag appears, but the text is "ROUTE END"! It should actually be "Route Start."Problem 2:
I open a saved route
I tap on "Edit route mode" in the top right corner
I tap on the destination flag (because I want to change the route destination)
ERROR 2: A window with the destination flag appears, but the text is "ROUTE START"! It should actually be "Route End."

Quote from Guido on 22.10.2025, 15:18I think this might be an old bug where this happened to specific routes when routes got reversed. I can not reproduce this with routes I recently created. Do you have this with every route? Even ones you created recently?

Quote from Vorarlberger on 23.10.2025, 06:31Hi Guido, yes, it is the same situation with old routes and routes created in the newest version of scenic.

Quote from Guido on 23.10.2025, 08:32Really strange. I can't reproduce it. Maybe it's a translation issue. What language is your Scenic user interface in?
Could you send me a screenshot of this please?
And a link to one of the recent routes you created where this is happening? (Select route from route list > 3 dots button top right > share link).

Quote from Guido on 31.10.2025, 06:55It's important to mention that the bug will not resolve the routes that were already saved with the wrong waypoint naming.
If it's also happening with new routes, could you provide me a detailed step by step approach to help me reproduce the problem?

Quote from Vorarlberger on 31.10.2025, 07:42Okay, then that's clear. If it happens again with new routes, I'll get in touch again. Thanks anyway for your great support!
