Bug - Flag description

Danke!

Hi Guido, there's a bug in the software: Sometimes the green flag says "Start," but sometimes it says "Finish." And vice versa. Unfortunately, this isn't consistent. It would be nice if this could be fixed occasionally. Thanks!

Does this perhaps happen with routes that were reversed using the "reverse" function under the "More" button in the planner?

No, it happens when editing an previously saved route. Especially when moving startpoint and endpoint of the route.

I tried to reproduce the problem, but it works for me here.
I select route from route list > edit route > tap start point > move > move it
Same for end point
Save changes

Re-open route... still start is start and end is end.

Are you doing something differently?

Hi Guido, here a description of the problem in more detail:

Problem 1:
I open a saved route
I tap on "Edit route mode" in the top right corner
I tap on the green flag (because I want to change the route starting point)
ERROR 1: A window with the green flag appears, but the text is "ROUTE END"! It should actually be "Route Start."

Problem 2:
I open a saved route
I tap on "Edit route mode" in the top right corner
I tap on the destination flag (because I want to change the route destination)
ERROR 2: A window with the destination flag appears, but the text is "ROUTE START"! It should actually be "Route End."

I think this might be an old bug where this happened to specific routes when routes got reversed. I can not reproduce this with routes I recently created. Do you have this with every route? Even ones you created recently?

Hi Guido, yes, it is the same situation with old routes and routes created in the newest version of scenic.

Really strange. I can't reproduce it. Maybe it's a translation issue. What language is your Scenic user interface in?
Could you send me a screenshot of this please?
And a link to one of the recent routes you created where this is happening? (Select route from route list > 3 dots button top right > share link).

Hi Guido,

my user interface language is set to "German".

My Scenic Version is V4.25.

The link to the route is:

https://scenicapp.space/route/kKeeGqwm

Screenshot False Description on Route Start Flag:

Screenshot False Description on Route End Flag:

A click on the link to that route opens it in a web browser map.  Simply hovering on the start and finish flags reveals the incorrect labeling...

Found the bug. Will be fixed for version 4.26.
Thanks for the detailed information!!

Thanks to you Guido for your great support!

Hi Guido, I´ve just installed V4.26 - the bug is still there as described above...

It's important to mention that the bug will not resolve the routes that were already saved with the wrong waypoint naming.

If it's also happening with new routes, could you provide me a detailed step by step approach to help me reproduce the problem?

Okay, then that's clear. If it happens again with new routes, I'll get in touch again. Thanks anyway for your great support!
