Bring back "guide me to a specific via point" option

Had to try a few times and ignore directions and kept skipping via points before Scenic route me in the right direction. All this could've been avoid if the previous option was still available so I can select a particular via point mid route.

I concur. With both points.
Scenic isn’t playing nicely with CarPlay if the connection is severed during navigation, such as stopping for a coffee on a rideout. It’s inconsistent but is happening sufficiently often to be a significant nuisance. For me sometimes it reverts to north up routing and looses speed based zoom and it takes killing Scenic on my phone to re-sync the setting on Scenic on phone to Scenic on CarPlay. I know Scenic on CarPlay should just be a cast of what’s on the phone but that isn’t what I’ve experienced. I’ve also had navigation (visual and audio) not resuming after a stop that has required killing Scenic on the phone and resuming the route when offered by Scenic, and this is where it would be really useful to be able to specify where in a route to restart navigation. I don’t experience these issues when using Scenic just on the phone (on a different motorcycle that doesn’t have CarPlay.
(I’m using a Carpuride W702, but from what I’ve read on this forum it doesn’t seem to be unit specific.)
