Breadcrumb (Trail) history
Quote from N8G on 14.09.2025, 07:24Greetings - I’ve recently purchased new motorcycle and Im trying to get by with only Scenic / CarPlay. In the past I’ve used Garmin Zumo GPS units. One thing I do quite frequently is just look at the GPS and find a nice curvy road. No route planned, just want to head in a general direction and find curvy roads. I like how on the Garmin it kept a history of all the roads I have been. Even on previous rides. So when i find a road I know if I have already been on it or not. Is this possible with Scenic? I have the “Show Trail” option enabled but as far as I can see it only shows the trail for my current ride.
Thanks for such an amazing app!!

This will open the layers panel where you can choose your map style, but also choose to chow your routes, redoes, locations on the map. In that panel, scroll down, expand the recorded ride section, and enable the recorded ride folders which you want to show on the map.

Welcome to this forum. Its possible to activate the layers for recorded rides, even when you ride. But it might get a bit confusing.
I prefer to see them just while planing a trip. Otherwise it will look like the picture below. 😜
Ride safe, Mex.

Es muss aber nicht so sein. Du kannst“Folders“ Machen, da Einzeltouren einführen. So wird es mehr übersichtlich 😃

@Johannsw: Das sind meine Fahrten. Mittlerweile 36.000 km mit Scenic gefahren. Natürlich habe ich alle folders eingeblendet 😎
