Auto pause tracking timing

I’d like to be able to increase the time the pause ride tracking automatically cuts in.  The default time coincides quite often with sitting at traffic lights and activates just as the lights turn to green and I’d like to be able to add 30 seconds to the timer to avoid this.  It’s even more of an issue now that our weather has turned cold and my thicker gloves are much less sensitive on phone and CarPlay touch screens.  I know this runs the risk of location errors putting me ‘off route’ but since the addition of configurable sensitivity it is something I very rarely experience.  But traffic lights…. they’re everywhere!

Doesn't Scenic automatically restart ride tracking when you begin moving again?  What is the benefit to increasing the time stopped before triggering a pause?  Not trying to be contrary here, I'm genuinely curious...

Scenic auto-pauses when you stop moving for more than 90 seconds. Scenic automatically resumes tracking when you get more then 100 meters away from the location where the ride was paused.

you can turn both features (auto-pause and auto-resume) off.

I knew about those features, but I wasn't aware that the device had to travel 100 meters before tracking resumed - I guess I assumed that the resume happened sooner.  I suppose now I can see problem situations where turn-by-turn directions would be missed in areas where intersections, etc, are less than 100 meters apart...

The 100 meters is there to avoid tracking resumes due to GPS inaccuracy “jumps” when you go inside during a break.
