Apple Shortcut Names with Special Characters
A minor item but I found my shortcuts with a special character in the name, in my case the “&” do not execute. I am quite sure they did in the previous version.
Scenic will open Shortcuts but not find the Shortcut with the name “Ride stopped send GMap & msg”
If I delete the “&” it will work.
Also Shortcut execution seems to be slower like 10 seconds !

Also I understand that shortcut names are case sensitive but in the Navigation Menu all items are shown in Upper Case.

I’m trying to get parts for a robot vacuum cleaner and it is taking week to get a response ! Do you have any ? 😁😆
Is it only the “&” character or other special characters as well ?
Can you make the text case in the Nav Menu “MiXEd cASe” for the Shortcuts as it is case sensitive ?
In regard to Shortcut execution speed I think I found the problem … one of my shortcuts gets my current location from Apple Maps and it is notoriously slow at about 10 seconds or longer !
My other shortcut gets my current location from the Weather App and it only takes 1 second.
I did find one other problem … when navigating and I pop the Nav Menu and hit Settings cog Scenic just goes into a spin both iPhone and iPad.
