Did you plan the route in Scenic or import it ?

Sometimes I found if you place a Point slightly off the “main” road it will take you down that side street and bring you back.

Also if it it a divided road it can be easy to place a Point on the wrong side of the road and the App will do what you are telling it to do, it will guide you to that side of the road.

in another App I found that it would not take me through the centre of town as it was a 50kph zone and the side street had no speed limit posted so the App thought that was faster.

If i search for the fastest route to lake nockamixon it has me turning right on 611 and up that way. But I didn’t want to do that and it wasn’t the planned route.

There could be a few reasons why this is happening:

1. You planned this route with an older version of Scenic (pre-3.50), and Scenic 3.5 calculates a different route. What happens when you choose "Edit points" for this route?
2. Do you have the offline maps installed for the region? There is currently a bug in 3.5 where it takes long-term road closures into account when using the online maps.
