Amazon Music
Quote from Reply101 on 12.10.2022, 10:39Can anyone please help me, the help pages show a method of allowing apple shortcuts to be set up for Amazon Music use through Scenic. When following the instructions on my iOS 16.0.2 enabled iphone I get no ‘allow untrusted shortcuts’ option in ios settings app > shortcuts. Has this setting been changed by Apple or have I missed something?

Do the shortcuts work though, even though you don't get the option to 'allow untrusted shortcuts'? For what it's worth, they still work here on my side, but I already set them up while still on iOS15.

it seems not for Amazon music, infact I can not set any shortcuts up for Amazon Music as it does not show in the shortcut app.
I have managed to use shortcuts successfully for setting up the two navigation menu links in Scenic, but this was to activate an app called Realrider which did appear in Shortcuts.

😳 It seems its user error at the heart of the problem!! Yes Apple has removed the “allow untrusted shortcuts” but this step seems not be needed any more, when I followed the rest of your instructions correctly, it worked perfectly! So embarrassing 😳. Great app, loving it more and more as I get used to it and thank you for taking the time to reply to me. 👍

Quote from Guido on 12.10.2022, 12:17No Problem. Did you know you can also set the 'previous', 'play/pause' and 'next' buttons in the navigation menu to control any audio app (incl amazon music)? It also works through shortcuts... to activate that go to Settings > Navigation Menu > Playback control
