Altitude included in export.
Quote from BeameronaBeemer on 21.03.2026, 13:40I needs some help to see what I might be doing wrong or if I just don't know what's going on.
I exported two files on two different days a day apart, one had elevation information "</ele>" the other didn't. Both on my iPad, they where done from Scenic as Export GPX and saved to file.
Here is examples of the output:
Without:
<trkpt lat="36.280250" lon="-79.126872">
<time>2026-03-20T16:13:45.830Z</time>

Quote from Guido on 21.03.2026, 14:51Hi John,
The elevation is only downloaded when you enable the Elevation chart for that ride. You only have to do that once. After that, the elevation is saved with the ride and will be included in the export.
Cheers,
guido

Quote from BeameronaBeemer on 22.03.2026, 04:17Thanks! I’ve seen that and never changed it but sometimes Elevation data would be exported and sometimes it would’t . I’ll make sure to check it now in the future.
