I understand what you mean. It is on the feature request list to add this. In fact, to add locations to POI groups not only from the POI screen itself, but also from other screens. E.g. if you have a POI group "Nice views" and you come accross a nice view during a ride, you would be able to add that nice view to a POI group. That's the rought idea at least 🙂.
Little cosmetic problem in this menu: The stored POI map icon is stored in day / night view according to the time I added a new POI. Why not choose the day view for all?
This is a bug. Indeed it should always generate the thumbnail with the "day" map style. I'll have a look at that.
