Add waypoints during a ride?

Is there a way to add waypoints while on a ride? I have times where I get part of the way through a route and decide I want to add some places or I want to redirect part of the route.

Yes. Move tge map while in navigation mode. This will take you to the overview/edit mode. Tgere you can long press on tge map or use the search button to add new waypoints.
