Add new route to current trip

I can’t find this option anymore. This was a very useful since than one day was one trip instead of different trips in one day.
Is this option not available anymore or do I look over it?

swipe to left or right when your route is active and you will get two options. Close on the left and change route on the right. Changing the route offers you to add additional stops or vias or with search in the right corner you can search for any other route to activate.
I hade similar issues with that but meanwhile I get used to it.
