Ad-how curvy route

yesterday, I tried to create a curvy route from one city to another with the curvy setting. as you can see from the photos below this type of creation still has a mind of its own like it’s possessed or on crack.

why does it take me or wish to take me through parking lots or residential neighborhoods? When rerouting it’ll do this too luckily I can see the route goes, but when this happens over a broader area at my zoom level, I’ll take where it tells me to go only for to say turn around now.

this has been an issue since version four and it’s still an issue in 4.18.

I’m working on improving this.
this is a great test case. Would you mind sending me the start and end coordinates of this route (and of any stops you placed manually, if any)?

To get coordinates, edit the route, tap on marker, and select “copy coordinates” and then DEC.

And also a screenshot of the curvy routing settings you used.

Start Point: 34.879304,-83.396516

End Point - 34.875450,-84.243476

About 78 miles...

I re-created the route and each time I do it new the "same" locations dart off into businesses, driveways, or parking lots...

Found something. Will be improved in upcoming update. With a bit of luck will be released before next weekend.
