The exception is the clock, but that’s been asked and answered already on this forum yesterday.
@guidomm - I have the same issue with zooming on my Mac - it’s far too sensitive and almost impossible to use with the touchpad. The original mouse and keyboard combo doesn't seem to work at all

Quote from Dae on 02.10.2024, 02:01As I said in my post - I have an issue with the Zoom. It used to be CMD plus mouse (I think), or pinch the trackpad. The pinching of the trackpad still works, but it's far too sensitive. The mouse option doesn't seem to work.

Quote from Lez90 on 02.10.2024, 02:09You be able to use CMD plus scroll on the mouse.
I use my Mac in clamshell mode as I have 2 external monitors (won’t work if not in clamshell mode - MacBook Air M3).
Therefore, I can double click the zoom in, but there’s no way of zooming out.
Also scrolling up and down menu lines does not work unless you hover your mouse over the small scroll bar on the right hand side 1st.

Quote from Dae on 02.10.2024, 05:51Yes - option plus double click works. It's not as convenient as the scroll wheel in v3.5, but it works as an interim measure. The pinch on the touchpad is unusable on my M3 MacBook Pro - it's like it's hypersensitive.

Quote from Guido on 02.10.2024, 11:18I'll have a look regarding the zoom and scroll on Mac.
Clock has been removed. It wasn't used very much. It takes up screenspace and only makes sense on iPhone landscape mode when the status bar is hidden.

I was having this issue as well and discovered that there is a setting which greatly improves this. Go to Mac menu bar -> scenic -> settings -> Touch Alternatives. Turn this on. Mine was disabled. Now the Option key plus touchpad works. In fact, I think it's better than in version 3.

Quote from Yo on 08.10.2024, 10:35Option Key plus double click also works on my Macbook Air M3. But scroll wheel instead like in v3 would be way better!!!

Quote from BrendanL on 09.10.2024, 14:16Im a bit annoyed tbh I have been using Scenic since 2018 and till now I have found it excellent and have been all around Europe with it guiding me. I was in Scotland last week and found the speed cameras and average speed camera detection excellent. But since updating to V4 nothing I think I might have been caught today at least once in Spain. If you are going to remove a feature please inform us and now I also learn no CarPlay don’t release a new version without all the features of the older version

Quote from Guido on 09.10.2024, 14:52Sorry for your bad experience. As you read, we were forced to migrate to a new map provider in a very short time or stop Scenic altogether. All functions will return. CarPlay by the end of October. Here you can find more information if you want: https://scenic.app/scenic-4-faqs/
We did communicate about this through two newsletters and our social channels. Perhaps your provider blocked our emails. This blog article was linked explaining the limitations: https://scenic.app/scenic-4-launch-features/
At that point I still was hopefull that CarPlay would be ready, but alas, it is not.
