I found an issue with 4.16 using carplay.

I started my route and due to an issue with a connection of my headset I stopped. After re-starting carplay did not show my position anymore. Due to another stop at a gas station I did ignore the missing arrow on the screen and the missing track. After checking everything when filling gas, the same issue occured again. No arrow and position visible in carplay (I was off the route). After being back on the route, I receive informations about next turn but still no arrow/positon on the carplay map. Therefore stopped again tried to recover but again no arrow. This time I tried to get out of carplay using the main menue in carplay and returned to scenic while riding and then it worked.

The issue might be that the carplay display re-starts when starting the engine but I already start my ride before the connection with the phone ist finished because I do not want to wait for all that stuff.

 

Later on I had a crash of scenic because I had to stop my route to get into settings of voice commands. After re-staring my route Scenic it was visible in Carplay, then started my engine (re-start of the Carplay display) and with that scenic crashed…….a bit annoying ride because everytime I had to stop, take my gloves off to be able to change settings on the phone…..I was hoping to get rid of that with when using a carplay display.
