3.54 Carplay: Search does not work

Hi,

just downloaded the new version 3.54 and found an issue, perhaps it's my fault, don't know.

When I have an active route on Carplay and want to "add a stop" and then e.g. choose "Benzin", I only get as a result "Apple" and it's empty, nothing else.

This happens also on "Suchen in der Nähe"

Did you have an internet connection when you did the search? And/or offline maps installed for the region?

Yes, both, internet connection and offline maps are present.

OK. I'll have a look. It should definitely show Offline Search results (within a 15 km radius). Regarding online search results (incl Apple search results)... is your CarPlay wirelss or wired? My Carplay is wireless, I read the post you linked. So I waited and unlocked my Phone, but no search results appeared. Carplay screen shows that I have an LTE connection.

And to be clear, search only does not work, when a route is active.

Here is what I`ve tested:

started Carplay device
in main screen tapped "Where to go"(Wohin)
if I choose "Fuel"(Benzin) I get "HERE"-Offline and -Online results
if I choose "Close by"(In der Nähe) I can choose "Parking" for example and also get "HERE"-results.

Then I tested the following:

started Carplay device
choosed "Where to go"
choosed "Routes" and picked a saved route, it doesn't matter which one, tried several routes
Then tapped "Start navigation"(Navi starten)
Now choosed "Add stop"(Stopp hinzufügen)
And choosed e.g. "Fuel"
No results

This happens when I'm on my starting point. Did not try it when following the route. Perhaps it only works if I've driven a few meters?

(Is there a possibility to simulate driving on a route?)

The same problem with my navigation with car play (not wireless):

during navigation / after start navigation it is not possible to use the function "add stop" to find for exaple "fuel" in the area
if I press "add stop" during navigation I can choose for example "fuel"
if I press "fuel" there is the message on the display " results / Apple no results

If I use the same function before start a route it works.

I had the same problem. Let's imagine I want to go from Munich to Augsburg which is a 50 km ride. I search for "Augsburg" in Apple Car Play and get different results: One result is marked with something like "found in Google". Check this result, and Scenic gets the desired destination.

I tried both wired carplay and wireless carplay: This does not make any difference.

Found the bug. Will be fixed in upcoming update (with a bit of luck before the weekend).
