The Open Beta continues to improve with regular updates. Bugs are being squashed and missing features are steadily being added to bring it closer to the iOS version. Below are the most important features still in development for Android. Please note that, other then the indications mentioned below, WE ARE NOT GIVING OUT DATES on when these feature will be available.

Android Auto

Android Auto is not yet supported. (ETA: May, maybe April)

Importing through the WebApp and from Furkot and RouteYou

You can’t import through the Scenic WebApp yet, and you can’t import directly from Furkot and RouteYou. You CAN import by opening a GPX file from another app (e.g. Google Drive) in Scenic. (ETA: March)

Satellite maps

Satellite maps are not yet available in the Android version.

Discover routes

Discovering routes, shared and rated by other Scenic users, is not yet available.

Layers

It’s not possible to show your layers on the map yet. This means, you can’t show your pre-saved routes, your recorded rides, your locations and your POIs as a layer on the map.

Custom map styles

You can not create your own custom map styles yet.
